Thailand has many theme parks and waterparks located in the main tourist destinations in the country including Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya and Khao Yai.

In this article, I will show you what I believe to be the 5 best theme parks and waterparks in Thailand for an unforgettable day in the land of smiles ;D

1. Dream World, Bangkok

Dream World is one of the oldest and most well-known theme parks in Thailand.

This theme park opened its doors in 1993 and has been renovated and extended several times to stay up to date and modern.

The park is divided into several zones, including Adventure Land, Fantasy Land, and Dream Garden, each offering a unique theme and attractions.

Other than the amazing games that guests can enjoy during their visit to the park, Dream World also hosts daily parades and live shows.

One of the amazing attractions existing in Dream world is the Snow Town.

It’s an area with artificial snow, providing a unique experience in a tropical country where the weather is mainly hot and humid.

The park is very family-friendly and is suitable for visitors of all ages with a mix of gentle rides and thrilling attractions for people looking for an adventurous experience.

Similar to internationally famous Theme Parks around the world, dream world has various mascots and characters and visitors can meet and take photos with them, adding a great value to the children’s experience when visiting the Park.

2. Siam Park City, Bangkok

Siam Park City is one of the largest amusement and water parks in Bangkok and Southeast Asia.

It has a variety of attractions, including roller coasters, water slides, and family-friendly rides.

The park includes a themed area called “Siam Amazing Park,” featuring replicas of global landmarks and cultural exhibits, and is a very popular attraction for Families traveling to Bangkok.

Siam Park City offers a range of live shows and performances throughout the day, therefore it’s recommended to check the schedule during your visit in order not to miss the chance to attend any of the shows and performances taking place.

The water park section, Siam Park (Also a very Popular choice for families), features a wave pool, lazy river, and numerous water slides.

There are many other sections available at the Park too, and Siam Park is always opening extensions to allow visitors to spend a full day without getting bored, but enjoying every single part of the park.

3. Ramayana Water Park, Pattaya

Ramayana Water Park is the largest water park in Thailand, 2nd in Asia, and 12th around the world, spanning over 45 acres.

It features 21 water rides, slides, and attractions, including the Aquaconda, one of the world’s largest water slides.

Other than the Aquaconda, the Lazy River at Ramayana is one of the longest in the world, adding another great reason for water parks enthusiasts to visit Ramayana.

The park’s Wave Pool is among the largest in Southeast Asia, creating realistic ocean-like waves.

Ramayana also offers cabana rentals in order to provide visitors with a private and comfortable space, for changing clothes, relaxing with the kids and other usage.

Splash Jungle Water Park is located in Mai Khao Beach in Phuket, near Phuket international Airport.

It features a variety of water attractions, including slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool.

Splash Jungle is the largest waterparks in Phuket catering to visitors of all ages, but is mainly attracting families with children since it has dedicated areas for younger children and more adventurous rides for older guests.

Splash Jungle also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and landscape.

It’s located near Bangkok, only around 2 hours drive by car.

For families traveling with kids and looking for attractions other than the National park, Scenical World will be a great option for them to spend a Half or a full day.

Scenical World  is an amusement and water park located in the scenic Khao Yai region, offering a mix of thrill rides and water attractions, perfect for any day 🙂
